Product Care

Footwear tends to change with use. Materials soften, shape adjusts slightly, and small creases begin to form. These shifts are part of normal wear rather than something to avoid entirely.

Initial Wear

It’s common for shoes to feel slightly different during the first few uses. Materials may relax as they adapt to your step and movement. This adjustment period varies from person to person.

Light creasing across the upper or near flex points can appear early. This is expected, especially in softer constructions.

Cleaning

For general cleaning, a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and water is usually sufficient. Harsh chemicals or aggressive scrubbing may damage the material or alter its appearance.

Machine washing is not recommended unless explicitly stated. Excess moisture and agitation can affect structure and longevity.

Drying

Air drying at room temperature is the safest approach. Direct heat sources—such as dryers, heaters, or strong sunlight—can cause shrinkage, warping, or material fatigue.

Stuffing shoes lightly with paper while drying can help maintain shape.

Storage

Keeping shoes in a dry, ventilated space helps prevent moisture buildup. Storing them in tightly enclosed areas for extended periods may lead to odor or material degradation.

If shoes arrive slightly compressed due to packaging, allowing them to rest or wearing them briefly often helps restore their shape.

Rotation and Use

Wearing the same pair continuously without rest can accelerate wear. Rotating between pairs allows materials to recover and may extend overall lifespan.

These shoes are designed for casual, everyday use. Extended exposure to harsh terrain or extreme conditions may lead to faster deterioration.

General Wear

Over time, soles will show signs of use, and the upper may develop natural folds. These are normal indicators of wear and are not considered defects.

How long a pair lasts depends on usage patterns, environment, and care. There isn’t a single fixed lifespan that applies to every case.
